COACHES CODE OF
CONDUCT
The purpose of this code is to
promote sportsmanship, enjoyment of participation and the
welfare of the youth participants. Each parent has the
responsibility to conform to these rules. The Recreation
Commission shall have the sole authority to consider the
imposition of sanctions for a violation. Those possible sanctions
are as follows: verbal warning, written reprimand, and
suspension from coaching duties.
Code of Conduct
1. I will remain on the sidelines
at all times unless I am asked by the coach in charge to enter
the field.
2. I will consider my opponents
and officials as my guests and I will treat them as such.
3. I will not criticize any
players. Non-constructive criticism in any form is prohibited.
4. I will courteously accept the
decisions of the officials.
5. I will not promote or permit
unsportsman-like conduct or engage in any other act that does
not provide a good example to others.
6. I will respect the teammates
and coaches for their hard work and determination.
7. I will always remember that I
am a role model and leader of my peers and will act accordingly.
8. I will come to practices and
games on time.
9. I will not consume alcohol
and/or smoke during the games and practices.
