Girls between the
ages of 8 and 14 may participate in this league which includes
teams from surrounding communities. There are four divisions: 8
& under, 10 & under, 12 & under and 14 & under.
Children are usually permitted to play within their grade for
this league ( 2nd grade, 3rd & 4th grades, 5th & 6th
grades, 7th & 8th grades. Age becomes a factor when children
tryout for a competitive tournament team.
In previous years
volunteer coaches have also entered teams in the summer fast
pitch league. This league is a competitive one which gives
players an opportunity to experience the style of softball
played on the high school level.
