INSTRUCTIONS FOR
BOAT RAMP APPLICANTS
The Borough of
Rumson Boat Ramp is located on Avenue of Two Rivers, behind
Borough Hall and the Borough Garages at 80 East River Road. The
Boat Ramp is open 24/7, 365 days a year and is patrolled by the
Guard and Police. A
summons will be issued to any person not having a valid permit.
The following
information is required to obtain a Boat Ramp Permit; Trailer
License Number, Boat License Number and Vehicle Plate Number.
A Seasonal
One-Time Launch/One-Time Haulout permit is $15.00.
The Annual
Permit is $85.00 and allows the applicant two (2) water vessels,
two (2) trailers, and (2) two vehicles on one application.
Kayaks, Canoes and Shells require the same application;
however, the Annual Permit fee is $40.00.
A senior
citizen discount is offered to any person 65 years of age
providing the senior has a valid driver’s license and the
above identifications are all in the senior’s name and same
address. A copy is
made of these documents at the time the Ramp Permit is issued.
The fee for seniors is $20.00.
