The Borough of Rumson is beginning a re-examination of its Master Plan. Our Master Plan is a long-term document adopted by the Planning Board and endorsed by Mayor and Borough Council that guides the community’s future direction, development and growth.
In accordance with the state statue on Land Use, as we prepare for the upcoming re-examination of The Borough’s Master Plan, we are asking residents to share their opinions with us.
Whether you’ve lived in Rumson for decades, or just recently moved in, we want to hear your thoughts, concerns, and ideas so we can better understand what residents value most when it comes to our direction, development, continued growth throughout the Borough.
What we’re asking for
Please take a few minutes to complete our Master Plan Resident Feedback Form. Your feedback on various elements of the Master Plan will help inform the Master Plan re-examination process and support the Planning Board’s work as it considers the Borough’s priorities for the years ahead.
What information our form collects
The form will request your name, address, phone number, and email address, along with a text box for your feedback. This helps ensure responses are Rumson resident-based and allows the Borough to follow up with you if clarification is needed.
Please know that we cannot guarantee all thoughts, ideas and feedback will be used as we plan for the next phase of our long-term community development.
Your feedback is an important part of planning thoughtfully for Rumson’s future.
Form closes March 29, 2026
