The 2021 Road Improvement Program will include Kemp Avenue, Elm Lane, Laurel Lane, and Auldwood Lane. The scope of improvements proposed on all the streets will generally consist of installing new concrete curbs, restoration of lawns behind newly installed curbs, restoration of driveways impacted during curb construction, removal of the existing surface pavement, repaving the entirety of the street, and installing new traffic striping. The work on Kemp Avenue will also include extending the existing drainage system to the intersections with Elm Lane and Laurel Lane.
The Borough is receiving sealed bids on February 25, 2021 and will open them publicly via Zoom. If favorable bids are received, the Governing Body will award contract to the lowest, most responsive bidder at the Regular Meeting of Mayor and Council on March 9, 2021 at 4:30 pm.
