Rumson Approves Fourth Round Housing Plan

The Borough of Rumson Planning Board, during its June 17, 2025 meeting, officially approved the Borough’s Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan. Following this approval by The Board, the Borough Council formally endorsed the plan by resolution at its July 8, 2025 Council Meeting, ensuring that the Borough remains in compliance with all state-mandated affordable housing requirements.

 

These actions have enabled The Borough to submit its Housing Element and Fair Share Plan to the State Program ahead of the established June 30, 2025 deadline, a critical step of the new, State Affordable Housing Regulations.
